The Board of Directors of the Authority is made up of 14 voting members representing the nine municipal units and business communities of Shelburne and Yarmouth counties and Municipality of Clare. No matter how large or small the unit is, all have equal voting rights. The sense of regionalism is excellent as no votes have ever split by county. In addition to the voting members, the South West Shore Development Authority is fortunate to have a variety of community partners who regularly attend and contribute to the decisions of the Board with their expertise.
