South West Shore Development Authority (SWSDA)
Community Economic Development (C.E.D.) is a term that encompasses all activities of the South West Shore Development Authority from industrial promotion to volunteer support services. This community controlled organization is mandated to create and manage economic and community projects that result in positive benefits to communities in Shelburne and Yarmouth counties in the province of Nova Scotia, Canada.

The following organizations are affiliated with SWSDA


Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission: The Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission is mandated to promote and develop new industrial activity in Yarmouth County.

Shelburne Area Industrial Commission: The Shelburne Area Industrial Commission is mandated to promote and develop new industrial activity in eastern Shelburne County.

Clare Area Industrial Commission: The Clare Area Industrial Commission is mandated to promote and develop new industrial activity in the Clare area.

Community Access Program (C@P):
 The Community Access Program provides citizens of the south west shore with access to the internet via community sites.

Port of Yarmouth:
 The Port of Yarmouth is mandated to develop and operate assets in the port that were transferred from the Government of Canada.
