Amenities A. ADMINISTRATION & MAINTENANCE The Park is owned and administered by the Yarmouth Area Industrial Commission. The Commission is responsible for maintenance, grass mowing and snow clearance and removal from the Park. B. HOSPITAL Yarmouth Regional Hospital, approximately five kilometres from the Park in the Town of Yarmouth, provides medical service for the Yarmouth area. The hospital recently completed a $45.2 million expansion to the facility, including new equipment and a helicopter landing pad for rapid EHS transfers to Halifax. EHS also operates its ambulance service from the hospital, serving both the Park and the region. Additional medical services are offered by local health professionals in the community. C. FIRE PROTECTION Fire protection in the Park is provided by the Yarmouth Fire Department. D. SECURITY The Yarmouth rural detachment of the RCMP is responsible for policing in the Hebron area.

Topography The Park occupies nearly 160 acres approximately 5 kilometres north of downtown Yarmouth adjacent Highway 101. The Park is bounded by Highway 101 to the east, Scott Road to the south, an abandoned railway line to the west, and private property to the north. The Park is generally level, with most of its area averaging 25-30 metres (82-98.4 feet) above sea level, with a small depression in the northwest corner of Phase 3 where the surface elevation drops to 15 metres (49.2 feet). There are no significant grades in most of the Park. The Park is divided into four sections for phasing of development of the Park. The smallest section, Phase 1 is the only portion of the park to be developed to date. Phase 1 occupies 35.3 acres and the land has been cleared but not graded. Most of the remaining land in the Park is covered with spruce and pine trees. The soil is mostly sandy with some large rocks and boulders. With 64 per cent of the land in Phase 1 (15.75 acres) still available for development, there is no pressure to develop the remaining phases in the near future.
