A. POWER
Nova Scotia Power Incorporated is responsible for electricity supply in the Hebron Industrial Park.
Currently, electrical utility poles extend the length of County Avenue, servicing all developed
portions of the Park. For information on rates and connections, contact Nova Scotia Power.
B. WATER
The Town of Yarmouth municipal water system services most of Yarmouth County, including Hebron
Industrial Park, from the Lake George reservoir. A 2.5 million Imperial Gallon municipal treatment
facility adds Ph and Co2 to the water supply (demand: 1.6 million Imperial Gallons). In addition,
the town is in the process of adding a $4.5 million water filtration facility upgrade. Firms in the
industrial park have metered water supply from a 12” line servicing the Park.
C. SEWER
Sewage from the Hebron Industrial Park flows to the Town of Yarmouth Lower Water Street treatment
facility, a combined sewer/storm sewer system. The facility is a sledge-digestion primary treatment
plant, with a daily capacity of 5.85 million Imperial gallons. The plant is designed for a 4 times
dry water flow for storm water runoff. Greater storm water volumes flow directly into the harbour.

developed portion of the park and is un-landscaped. Firms locating to the Park are encouraged to
landscape their portion of the storm water ditch.
